Cancellara (Potenza)
The Cancellara wind farm is located in the eponymous municipality of Cancellara in the province of Potenza, while the electrical substation connecting to the national grid is located in the nearby municipality of Vaglio (PZ).
The onshore plant consists of 12 Vestas wind turbines, model V112 of 3.3 MW each, with a total capacity of 39.6 MW. Each tower is 84 meters high, and the rotors have a diameter of 112 meters, allowing for the best use of the site's wind characteristics.
It came into operation in 2015 and has a historical production averaging 85,000 GWh per year, contributing to the annual energy needs of more than 25,700 households.
The park was acquired in 2024, contributing significantly to CVA's growth goals in renewable energy generation.
