Lamia di Clemente wind farm (Taranto)
The two plants, totalling 22.24 MW, were designed, built and connected by Asja between 2012 and 2013 and, with 11 Gamesa model G97 wind turbines installed, have already produced more than 146,500 MWh of clean energy.
The wind farms, located in the municipality of Laterza, were acquired by the CVA Group on 17 June 2016 and complement the Ponte Albanito wind farm in Apulia bought in the previous year. Each tower has a height of about 80 meters and the rotors have a diameter of 97 meters. Based on the wind characteristics of the site, a yearly electric power production of about 50 GWh is expected.
