Ponte Albanito wind farm (Foggia)
The Ponte Albanito plant falls into the category of on-shore wind power plants. It is located in the province of Foggia and represented the CVA Group's first acquisition in the Apulian territory. Indeed, the same region is also home to the power plants of Lamacarvotta, Lamia di Clemente (Taranto) and Tarifa (Lecce).
The wind farm consists of 8 wind turbines with a rated capacity of 2.85 MW each, totalling 22.8 MW and producing about 46 GWh of wind power each year.
The plant has been in operation since 1st June 2014, and joined the Group during 2015. In fact, it has actively contributed to the investment plan put in place for the enhancement of CVA's leading position in the field of wind renewable energy production in Italy.
