Tarifa Wind Farm (Lecce)
On 23 January 2017, Compagnia Valdostana delle Acque acquired from Tozzi Green S.p.A. - a company specializing in solutions, services and projects for plant development and power generation from renewable sources-the Tarifa wind farm, located in the province of Lecce.
The power plant, which was designed, built and connected in 2016, has an installed capacity of 22 MW and is capable of producing about 50 GWh of wind renewable energy annually thanks to its 11 Vestas model V100 and V90 wind turbines.
With the acquisition of the Tarifa plant, the CVA Group has further consolidated its presence in the domestic wind generation scene, surpassing the symbolic threshold of 100 MW of total installed capacity. In Apulia, CVA also owns the on-shore wind farms of Lamia di Clemente Lamacarvotta in Taranto and the Ponte Albanito plant in Foggia.
